Visit the Apple Store St. Johns Town Center and check out the Calendar of Events.

They offer some free workshops and also offer One to One training.

F9

Typing the F9 key will show you all the applications that you currently have open.

Cleaning The MacBook Display

After making a trip to the Apple Store I found the perfect cleaner for our MacBooks. It is iKlear Travel Singles, safe for your iPod, iphone, and Apple LCD & Glossy Displays.
Just follow the directions carefully.

Remote

While holding the Apple key down type escape. This is a shortcut to perform what the remote would do. You can use the arrow keys to navigate, enter to select. Use the same sequence to escape.

Try This!

While holding the ctrl key down take two fingers and move upward across the touch pad.
To reverse action move downward. Comes in handy with small print.

iwork '8

If you are having problems finding ipages, keynote or numbers:
Open Macintosh HD
Open applications
Open iwork '8
You can drag the icons to you Dock for easy access.

Don't forget to visit itutor, the Duval County Public Learning Center for the MacBook.

Each application also has a tutorial built in.

WOW what a day.  I would just like to thank everyone for helping make our MAC deployment go so smoothly yesterday.  It was very promising for me to see how excited everyone is about receiving a MacBook.
